Cats Up For Adoption

Xander

Siamese

Xander is a beautiful, 1 yr. old cat who had to be given up by the only family he has ever known or they would face eviction. As with all of our cats, he must go to an indoor home only. He is litter-trained, neutered, on Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention & has been dewormed.

Here is Gino, a 6-wk old kitten who was dumped behind a grocery store and near death from a raging respiratory virus. There are dozens meeting their sad fates in this scenario, but they are either too healthy or too feral to accept help. This little guy, however, just couldn't be ignored or forgotten. His temperature was 103 and his face was covered with mucus. Barely able to breathe, much less stand, he seemed grateful to be scooped up in my palm, and wiped clean with a wet cloth. The vet gave him strong antibiotics, and now finally on the mend, he's discovered the joys of licking warm food from a plate, snuggling with the big dogs, and being safe from the hungry foxes and raccoons by the river. He has been given shots and is available for adoption into a safe, loving home. Please call 740-646-2110 or email ohioriverdogs@hotmail.com
