Siberian Husky

Malakai is a stunningly beautiful, 1 yr. old white Siberian Husky. He weighs in at approximately 90 lbs. He has a wonderful personality, loves other dogs, (doesn't bother cats or even toads), adores people, including adults & kids. An extremely loving dog, he wants nothing more than to be where his people are. He does great with baths, loves getting brushed, & is leash-trained. He is crate-trained & house-trained as well. He must be an indoor dog, must have a fenced yard & must go to a home where he will get as much love as he gives (which is alot!). He has been dewormed, neutered, is on Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention & is UTD on shots.

Kodo (formerly Dr. Professor Bubbles)

Chihuahua/Podengo Portugueso Pequeno

Kodo was purchased from a breeder in Florida. His owners did not realize how much food a dog would eat or eliminate so they gave him away (unneutered.) He went to a home with an unspayed female chihuahua who ended up pregnant & most of the pups died. The ones that did not were given away, just like Kodo & his pup Podo. Luckily, they went into rescue were they will both be neutered to prevent the unnecessary birth of more homeless puppies, which would have only added to the ever increasing pet overpopulation crisis. This is a classic example of why people giving up unwanted pets should have them spayed/neutered first & thoroughly check out who they are giving them to. Luckily, Kodo is transitioning well into his foster home after being uprooted from his previous ones. He gets along great with adults, kids, other dogs (especially small ones as big ones can be intimidating) & cats. He weighs 9 lbs. Kodo has been neutered, dewormed, started on heartworm/flea/tick preventative & is UTD on shots.

Podo

Chihuahua/Podengo Portugueso Pequeno

Podo is 5 mos. old & weighs 7 lbs. He is doing very well in his foster home with the other animals & people too. Prior to adoption, he will be neutered. He is utd on shots, has been dewormed & is on heartworm/flea/tick preventative.

Zoli

Boxer

Zoli is a sweet 1 yr. old with an amazing personality. She wins over all who meet her instantly. She loves people, simply adores children, & greatly enjoys the company of other dogs. She is crate-trained, house-trained & knows some basic commands. She has been spayed & shots given. She has been dewormed & is on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

This gorgeous little 11 lb. girl spent much of her 1 yr. of life kept in a basement. Amazingly, she is very well-adjusted. She gets along great with adults, children, other dogs & cats. She is crate-trained & house-trained. She has been spayed, dewormed, is on heartworm/flea/tick preventative & is current on shots.

Giles

Parson Terrier Mix

Giles is a 1 yr. old boy who weighs 10 lbs. He was brought to us by a very concerned motorist who found him wandering the same road for several days. He is a great little dog that loves everyone he meets- other dogs, cats, kids & adults. He enjoys playing endlessly with his foster siblings. He has been dewormed and started on Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Prior to adoption, he will be UTD on shots & neutered.

Gage

American Staffordshire Terrier

When this adorable boy came he was just 6 wks. old. He was born 2/14/10. He was bought for a 6 yr. old boy who subsequently lost interest. This is a perfect example of why companion animals should not be obtained specifically for a young child. Gage will go to a home in which he will be the entire family's pet. He is a wonderful puppy who has only had one accident in his crate nor does he cry while in it. He has been dewormed & has received his first set of shots. If he goes to his new home as a puppy, his adoption will require a spay & neuter contract with subsequent proof of neuter.
